Milo's Story

Milo will turn 3 next month and is looking for a new home for the second time. He was 8 months old when he first came to HBHR and 2 years later he still acts like a puppy! This slender boy weighs under 30 pounds and is 15 inches tall.<br/><br/>Milo has good house manners with the use of a dog door. He did love to chew on things. He went through several blankets and a couple dog beds before he ‘got’ it out of his system. He spends most of his time wrestling and playing chase with buddies in the pack! He gets along with other dogs and rarely gets into squabbles over toys or food.<br/><br/>Milo loves attention and his share of pets but is never demanding of your time and happily shares attention with other beagles. Milo will need a home with a playful canine companion and an active family. This wonderful boy is a diamond in the rough. He just needs that final bit of polishing to make him the best dog you will ever have!

Houston Beagle Rescue's Adoption Policy

All potential adopters must be at least 18 years of age, must complete our application to adopt, and must agree to a home visit prior to adoption. Adoption fees are $300 for adult purebred beagles or coonhounds, $250 for mixed beagles or hounds, $200 for seniors or special needs dogs, and $350 for puppies 8 months or younger,
