Milo's Story

Milo is 20 pounds of attitude, opinions, and deeply selective affection. He is a petite guy with a personality that could power a small city. He is crate trained, knows “sit,” and will show you… if the vibes are right. He is smart, alert, and always aware of what’s going on in his home.

Milo can be picky about humans at first. He likes to take his time deciding who belongs in his inner circle. But once he chooses you, congratulations — you now have a tiny, loyal bodyguard who is fully committed to you. He is incredibly affectionate with his people and loves nothing more than curling up for serious cuddle time.

With other dogs, Milo enjoys a selective social life. He does best with dogs who respect boundaries and understand that he communicates clearly and confidently. He enjoys canine companionship, but he prefers friends with manners.

Milo would thrive in a home with a sense of humor, patience, and appreciation for a dog who bonds deeply and keeps life interesting. He is not for everyone, but for the right person, he is hilarious, devoted, and endlessly entertaining.

Pitt Friends's Adoption Policy
Thank you for considering adopting from Pitt Friends! The first step in our adoption process is filling out our application, which you can find at pittfriends.com. If your application is approved, the foster family will reach out to you directly to arrange a meet and greet at a mutually agreeable time and place. We do not have a shelter facility. All of our animals live in foster care full time, in the homes of our volunteers. Our adoption fee is $200 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, deworming, and any other medical care that is required prior to adoption. A home check and vet reference are required prior to adoption. Each dog has different needs, so if one particular dog is not the right fit for your home, we may be able to recommend another that is a better match!
