Meet Milo

Meet Milo!
Look at this big boy and those brown eyes might melt your heart! Milo is a 2 year old Anatolian Shepherd and his favorite thing in the world is people. Milo was found abandoned at a Texas gas station along a busy road in danger of being hit by a car. Milo was tagged by another rescue that turned him away, but thankfully we were able to take him in. He stuck around the gas station begging for food from patrons that would sometimes share with him. When it came time to rescue poor Milo, he was curled up next to a gas pump trying to keep warm and dry while it rained, his skin open and raw from mange and wounds. Milo is all healed up and so thankful to have a full belly, love, and attention while he waits for his family. He is good with kids, cats, and other dogs. Milo's perfect home would be with someone that works from home that he could hang out with all day, and someone that would love to adventure with him when they aren't busy. He is currently being fostered in Texas, but can make his way to Iowa on one of our upcoming transports.

Milo is HW positive, which unfortunately is common in Texas dogs that have not received preventative medicine. The good news is we have started him on part one of treatment and he will finish with fast kill injections. He is now available for pre-adoption while completing treatment. **Since most of our animals are found as strays, we cannot guarantee breed or age. Breed and age are decided based on our experience as well as veterinarian advice**
**Our adoption fees help cover expenses and fund our program to let us continue to Rescue, Rehab, and Rehome stray and abandoned animals. Thank you so much for considering adoption**
