Update- 10/2026-<br/><br/> OH, MILO! YOU JUST KEEP STEALING OUR HEARTS! <br/><br/>Ohhhh, this handsome boy! Every time we spend time with Milo, he shows us a little more of his personality, and let me tell you... WE ARE LOVING EVERY BIT OF IT!<br/><br/>Today, Milo had LOTS of things to say when he met Martin in passing! Apparently, our boy had a few stories to share, and he wasn’t about to let Martin walk by without hearing them! A little aroooo here, a little conversation there... Milo was feeling chatty! <br/><br/>And can we talk about 13-year-old Connor?! Oh my goodness, Milo absolutely LOVED him! It was so sweet watching these two together. Milo certainly knows a good human when he meets one!<br/><br/>What makes our hearts happiest is watching Milo continue to blossom. <br/><br/>Each week, we see a little more confidence, a little more affection, and a boy who is beginning to understand that he is SAFE. He is LOVED. And these humans are here to help him. <br/><br/>He is learning to trust, and we are getting to see more and more of the wonderful dog we knew was in there all along.<br/><br/>Milo is sweet, lovable, treat-motivated, walks nicely on a leash, and continues to show us what an absolutely FANTASTIC guy he is!<br/><br/>And goodness gracious... WE LOVE THIS BOY! <br/><br/> Now, Milo just needs someone to give him the one thing we can’t give him in boarding... a HOME!<br/><br/>A foster would be amazing, but a forever family?! That would be the BEST thing ever!<br/><br/>Someone out there is missing out on one incredible dog. Could that someone be YOU?! <br/><br/> Come meet Milo. Give him a chance. WE SAVED ANOTHER ONE! <br/><br/>Okay, okay... apparently we saved another dog a few days ago and I FORGOT TO SHARE IT! <br/><br/>So what better day to make it official than NATIONAL DOG DAY?!<br/><br/>Everybody say hello and...<br/><br/> WELCOME MILO TO JOURNEY HOME! <br/><br/>Oh my goodness, would you LOOK at this handsome boy?! <br/><br/>Milo is a German Shepherd mix who came into the shelter as a stray on 12/18 and has been waiting ever since. They have too many so he was quickly approaching a euthanize date. We said...<br/><br/>Well, Milo...<br/><br/>YOU DON’T HAVE TO WAIT THERE ANYMORE! <br/><br/>What we know about him so far:<br/><br/> Male<br/> 62 lbs. of handsome<br/> Dog friendly<br/> Sweet & easygoing<br/> Relatively calm<br/> Loves to play fetch<br/> And obviously... ADORABLE!<br/><br/>We cannot WAIT for Milo to get here so we can meet him, learn ALL THE THINGS about this sweet boy and start showing him just how good his life is about to become.<br/><br/>No more wondering, Milo. You’ve got a Village now. <br/><br/>And you know the drill, Village—start sharing that handsome face!
