Milo's Story
Milo was turned over to us by his owner because they're moving. Milo is estimated at 7 1/2 years old. He weighs about 8 pounds. He's an orange and white parti-pom with a little bit of black mixed in. Milo was originally from a puppy mill, so he's a little skittish at first. He adjusts quickly, and then, wants to follow his owner around everywhere and to be on the couch with them whenever possible. Milo is doing really well with pottying outside as long as he's taken outside every few hours. He gets along with the other dogs and ignores the cats. He's a beautiful, adorable little guy. He travels well in a car. He walks well on leash. He's neutered, heartworm negative, fully vaccinated, and he had a dental. Milo loves belly rubs and will paw at you for more if you try to stop. He doesn't bark much, usually just when the other dogs are barking.

In order to adopt, you need to send an e-mail to rescue@secondchancepoms.org asking for an application. After you send this back, we will check references and someone will visit you in your home to discuss adoption. We ask a donation of $400 for adults, and $450 for puppies. This covers shots, spay/neuter, and any medical treatment when needed, such as de-worming, dental, heartworm treatment, and repairing broken bones. We do not ship our pomeranians, but an out-of-state adoption can still happen if the adopter comes to the Houston, TX area to pick up their pom.
