Millie's Story

Hi, my name is Millie. I’m new to the rescue. I came from a shelter where they said I was friendly to other dogs and had a medium energy level. Since coming to the rescue, I’ve proven that I’m a snuggly and lovey lady. Even though I'm getting older I was still up for doing a 5 mile hike. I also don’t seem to have much of a prey drive after an outing to Wheeler Farm with my foster mom. I'm both confident and love people and would love to join your family! All Arctic Rescue dogs are marked “yes” to “Needs Experienced Adopter.” This is because Northern Breeds typically have higher exercise, training, and care requirements than others. We recommend thoroughly researching the breed before pursuing adoption, if you do not have prior experience.

Arctic Rescue's Adoption Policy
HOW OUR ADOPTIONS WORK: 1) We require all adopters to fill out an online application at: https://www.arcticrescue.com/adopt 2) We are a Utah-based rescue. All potential adopters must come to Utah and meet the dogs. We do not transport dogs. 3) We want to make sure that your home is the perfect fit for one of our dogs and vice versa. We want all members of the family to be happy and well matched with each-other, so require families to do a phone interview, reference checks, meet dogs and pass a home-inspection before adoption.
