Millie's Story
12/27/14 update
Millie has represented our shelter at the York Reptile Expo (obviously more than just reptiles!!) and at the Middlesex Elementary School in the Cumberland Valley School District. She did wonderful at both events, and apparently really enjoyed the 1st graders :-) She's a sweet girl, with lots of love and energy!!

See photos from the events here:
https://www.facebook.com/135026357660/photos/a.10151523454767661.1073741825.135026357660/10152947387747661/?type=3&theater

~~~~~~~~~
Check out a video of Millie on our Facebok page - https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10152909446902661&set=vb.135026357660&type=2&theater
~~~~~~~~~~
10/12/14 update -
Millie enjoys fetching tennis ball and bounces around a lot on leash although walks better after exercise and not near other dogs. She loves to run beside other dogs in the play yards. She will sit for a treat held in front of her nose and then lie down from a sit position.

~~~~~~
Mille arrived at the Helen O Krause Animal Foundation on 09/12/14. She is approx 25lbs and is estimated to b 1-2 yrs old
She is current on vaccines, has been spayed, and microchipped.
Millie is a real love bug, with lots of energy. We believe she is about a year old. She takes a short time to warm up to new people (she's just a little nervous around new people and barks because she's nervous, but that passes pretty quickly). She enjoys fetching tennis balls and running with other dogs in the play yards. She's very friendly and active.
Millie walks well on a short leash with proper technic. She would love a home with active people who run or jog regularly.
Call 717 697 3377 and leave a message if you would like more information or are interested in Millie.
