MILLIE's Story
Funny. Energetic. Sweet. Curious. These are the words one of our field trip fosters used to describe long-term resident Millie! Two-year-old Millie is the perfect dog for someone who shares her love for adventure. Whether you're seeking a companion for running, hiking, or riding in the car, Millie's your girl! On her field trip, Millie hopped right up into the car and loved every minute of the ride. She was so excited to stick her head out of the window, she barely sat for very long. Her fosters said she would only sit for -- get this -- Millie-seconds! Millie LOVES toys, especially ones that squeak, but she found a stick on her trip that she was quite pleased with! She carried it around and played with it. Silly Millie is a very curious girl and at one point in her trip, she stuck her head into a canvas bag and looked up with it on her head like a hat! Millie was treated to a pup cup that she enjoyed so much, she wanted to eat the cup itself! Millie is a very smart girl whose work with our volunteer dog trainers definitely shows! She's been learning sit, let's go, wait, leave it, and more! Just think of how many fun adventures you'll have with Millie in your life! Please don't make her wait any longer. She is so stressed and unhappy in her kennel and has so much love to give. Millie's adoption fee has been paid for by a caring person who wants to see her find a forever home. Come meet Millie today and make it happen! Millie is selective about her canine friends. Bring yours in to meet her! Millie has done great with older children, teens, and adults. Unfortunately, Millie is not cat-friendly. Millie is 2 years old and weighs about 50 pounds. She's spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Millie is ready to go home TODAY!
