Millie Colley's Story
Millie is one very special girl who has known love from the very beginning. She was born in our care after her Mom was surrendered to us from a Mennonite farm. Her Mom had been living outdoors and unspayed, and when it became clear she was pregnant, the farmer agreed to surrender her rather than have her harmed. Thanks to that decision, Millie and her siblings were given a safe start to life.

Millie has been thriving in foster care ever since. She is working on her crate training and housebreaking and is doing wonderfully with guidance and consistency. She is an incredibly sweet, gentle pup with a soft, loving nature and a playful spark — especially when there’s snow involved! She loves to romp, explore, and then curl up for some well-earned snuggles.

Millie’s Mom is a Collie–Australian Shepherd mix, and her dad is suspected to be a Labrador Retriever, giving her a lovely blend of intelligence, affection, and fun-loving energy. She was raised with a devoted canine Mom and a caring human foster Mom, setting her up beautifully for life as a family companion.

Millie is healthy, happy, and up to date on her vaccinations, and she has received excellent veterinary care. Her Mom has since been spayed and adopted into a loving home of her own — and now it’s Millie’s turn.

She’s ready to find a forever family who will continue her training, cherish her sweet personality, and give her the safe, loving future she so deserves.
