Millie

Millie was dumped at our local high kill animal shelter along with 8 other dogs. They all had severe mange. They were going to immediately euthanize them due to their condition. <br/><br/>Millie recovered very well from mange & has had no health problems. She has tested negative for tick fever, heart worms & Giardia. <br/><br/>Millie will need a family that has a lot of patience & time to spend with her. Humans were not kind to her in the past. She is learning to trust again. We know she would flourish so much faster in a home environment. <br/><br/>Due to her being shy & timid, young children are not a good fit.<br/><br/>Millie is in an indoor/outdoor kennel. She will go outside to potty. She gets along well with her kennel mate. She has shown no signs of aggression of any kind. <br/><br/>Once you sit down with some treats & give her time, she will come to you. <br/><br/>We know there's a special girl hidden away in there, she just needs the right person to help her learn to completely trust.
