Millie's Story
Millie is a sweet, young, energetic lab mix who could really use a home! She doesn’t particularly like the chaos of boarding or being in a kennel when there is other fun happening! Millie would rather be out sniffing and exploring and learning.

We found this girl in the same place as the brown lab (Sadie) - and put them in the car together. We've come to find out that she loves to play with other dogs. In fact, she lives for it! At the clinic, she seemed uninterested in the cat that was right behind her. We can’t guarantee she is cat friendly but that seemed like a good sign.

Millie would be a really great dog for someone active and someone who is willing to train a dog. She already knows “sit” and “come” and will catch food in the air. She just needs some gentle help with some manners that are pretty typical of a young lab-like dog (jumping up, getting distracted, etc.). She doesn’t know a thing about retrieving but I think she would pick that up easily. She would be great at scent work or tracking. She went through training to develop some basic obedience skills.

Millie is about 3 years old, ~55 lbs, spayed, UTD on vaccinations and finished heartworm treatment.
