Millie's Story

Millie is about 8 years old. She lived majority of her life outside in a kennel with little to no human contact. We don't believe she was ever able to live inside a home, and if she was it wasn't for very long. She is very quiet and gentle and would do best in a low-stress household. She has gotten a lot better with her anxiety at the shelter. She has adjusted very well. She does not potty in her kennel overnight. We do not know how she will react to little kids and she isn't a super big fan of any man. She will avoid contact with men. We were told from the previous owner that she was good with dogs but did have some food aggression. We have tried to have Millie meet other dogs, and she gets very anxious and does not want them near her. With that being said, we believe Millie would be happiest being the only animal in the home. She's not going to be a social butterfly. We have not had her around cats but as stated, think it would be best if there were no other animals. Millie is spayed, current on vaccinations, and heartworm tested negative. If you have any questions, please contact us directly at (989) 343-7387 or rfas1367@gmail.com

We understand some people are not local, and we can work around that to accommodate the needs of all parties involved. -Meet and greets are required for any dog adoptions where there is already a dog in the home. -CAT ADOPTIONS REQUIRE CARRIERS TO LEAVE THE BUILDING! -DOG ADOPTIONS REQUIRE A LEASH TO LEAVE THE BUILDING!
