Millie 's Story
Meet Millie, a 3-year-old chihuahua mix weighing about 10 pounds, with a gentle soul and a heart full of love waiting to bloom. Millie came from a hoarding situation where she didn’t receive the care or affection she deserved, so it’s no surprise that she can be a bit shy when meeting new people. That said, give her a little time and patience, and she quickly warms up — once she does, she becomes a devoted, loving little companion who adores her person.

Millie gets along well with other dogs and finds comfort in their presence. She absolutely loves yummy treats and will happily sit for them, always eager to please. One of her favorite things is rolling over for belly rubs, soaking up every bit of affection she’s missed out on. At night, she does wonderfully in her crate and settles in like a good girl.

Millie is currently getting fully vetted after arriving with flea-related hair loss, and her fur is already on the road to recovery. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and will receive a health certificate prior to adoption. This sweet girl is patiently waiting for her furever home — one that will show her the love and security she’s always deserved.

https://www.livefreerescue.com/adoption-application

**We can’t adopt to MA residents**
