Millie's Story

it has been determined that somebody purposely cut off Millie‘s paw and tried to cut the other one off as well. It appears whatever sick individual did this used zip ties or at least something similar because her other back leg has a scar that pretty much resembles some sort of a zip tie, what type of cruel individual would purposely cut off or attempt to cut off a dogs paw. Millie is thriving and loves other dogs playing tug-of-war with the other dogs and running around and is enjoying life so even though somebody was cruel to her, she loves people. ?updated video and photo in comments.

Millie. “Trash to Treasure”.

Millie was a puppy that was found dumped in a pile of trash

A foster saved Millie. As you can see, Millie is missing her back paw we don’t know what happened. She could’ve been born like this or could’ve been cut off when she was a tiny puppy but it has healed. Millie is on the thin side and only 14 pounds and estimated to be approximately five months old. She is slowly putting on weight. We believe she may be a Weimaraner mix (believe it or not) but again this is a guess. As she gains weight and continues to grow we may have a better idea of breed or we may not ever know her breed mix. What we do know is Millie loves toys and playing with other dogs in her foster home. She also loves to snuggle on your lap. Millie is a great pup that was lucky to be saved, and given a chance at a better life.

Millie is up to date on vaccinations for her age
