Millicent's Story
Millicent is a 5 year old, light wheaten colored Scottish Terrier. She came to us from a puppymill and we were thankful they were done with her and released her to us. She had been purchased as a puppy and lived with her family for 2-3 years, then tragically was sold to the puppymill along with another Scottie, listed separately. There she was scared and became timid over the last few years, not receiving the positive attention and affection she deserved. She was very frightened when she came into our foster home but she quickly started to remember what it was like to live in a house and have people who cared about her. It will take a while but she’s a sweet girl and not a mean bone in her body.
She is scheduled to be spayed and is in the process of receiving all her adult vaccines. Her bloodwork came back very good and she has no medical issues. She is in shaved condition, but will be a real beauty once her hair grows back. She will be available for adoption once her vet work is completed.
We are looking for a home owner with a fenced yard, no pool, nothing to scare her and patience. She’s a real sweetheart!
For more information about Millicent, please contact Erica Cerny at ecerny@optonline.net or 973-214-9676
