She is a shy dog, particularly around men, but with time and patience she does warm up. Miley is sweet, gentle, and does well with children. City of Chico Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

Cat and kitten adoption fee: $70.00 ($49.00 + $21.00 Co-Pay) Cats over 8 years old: $49.00 Dog adoption fee: $59+ $0-50 (Spay/Neuter Co-Pay) Small animal adoption fee: $12.50 + (Spay/Neuter Co-Pay: $0-50) Dogs are heartworm tested, cats are FELV/FIV tested, and all animals will be microchipped. All animals are currently vaccinated for common canine and feline diseases, dewormed, treated for fleas (when necessary), and are screened for health and temperament. Dog licenses are available at the shelter for the City of Chico. The City of Chico Animal Shelter is located at 2579 Fair St., Chico, CA. We're open every day from 12:00 Noon until 6:00 PM. (By appointment only)
