Miles's Story

Miles is a beautiful Lab we pulled from AHS-Newark Branch just before Christmas?.
Yes, Miles is an insulin dependent diabetic, and requires simple twice-daily injections, but hes also very good for them. Miles is shy at first, but attaches himself almost immediately and forms a very strong bond. He is quiet, house trained, and not at all hyper like Labs or his age can be. ( Hes five). He loves chewing on a Benebone, and being close to you, wherever you are.

Miles would love a home where he can be with his person for much of the day. Hes been through so much change, he craves that attention and love, and gives it right back. He gets along nicely with calm, friendly, non-alpha type dogs.
If youd like to adopt our special boy, he will come to you with enough food, insulin and needles to keep him set for awhile, and all of the love and companionship you could possibly need. Miles diabetes has been regulated, and hes been thriving since coming into rescue. All he needs now is the stability of a forever home.
Are you the next special person or people to look past a special-need and give sweet Miles a home?
Please fill out our application in order to be considered
https://www.hharteam.org/adoption-form/
Thank you to both of Miles compassionate foster families, and his amazing vet. You have all made the difference in this very precious life.
