I've been in and out of the shelter for almost two years now, and I've never had a real home for long. I'm ready for that to change.<br/><br/>When I first arrived, I was underweight, overbred, and battling heartworms. But thanks to my amazing rescue team, I've had my surgeries, completed my heartworm treatment, and am now healthy, heartworm-free, and ready for the best chapter yet. I'll be celebrating my 5th birthday on October 27 and my only wish is to finally have a family of my own. <br/><br/>I've learned so much while waiting patiently here at the shelter, and here's what makes me special:<br/><br/> Affectionate: I love snuggles, kisses, and just being close to my people.<br/> Crate & Housetrained: I'm tidy and know my routines.<br/> Dog Selective: I do well with some dogs, but I'd shine brightest as your one-and-only or with a calm, compatible friend.<br/> No Cats: I'm not a fan of feline roommates.<br/> Good with Kids: Gentle kiddos make my tail wag!<br/> Leash Trained: Walks are my favorite part of the day.<br/> Low to Moderate Energy: I'm a chill girl who enjoys lounging but can still get the zoomies when I'm happy.<br/> Playful & Loves Toys: Give me a squeaky toy, and I'm all smiles.<br/> Great in the Car: I ride like a pro - road trip, anyone?<br/><br/>Fun fact: I warm up to guys faster than a marshmallow melts over a campfire! <br/><br/>After all I've been through, I'm searching for my unicorn hero - someone patient, kind, and ready to show me that forever really does mean forever.<br/><br/>If you think that could be you, please fill out an adoption application and come meet me.
