Mila's Story

Introducing Mila, a 2 year old female German Shepherd mix, who was pulled from the Houston pound about 6 months ago to be trained as a service dog. The owner’s circumstances changed soon after, and a Good Samaritan took her in. She loves people. Very attentive and sweet. She is high energy so requires an active lifestyle, and likely should be around older kids. Mila loves hugs but can be a bit much for small humans! She’s pretty darned good on leash and very treat motivated!!

She socializes well with other dogs, but prefers submissive or calm playmates. She doesn’t show any signs of destructive behavior and loves following rules. If a human is paying attention to her, Mila is all ears. She’s a sweet couch cuddle bug. Can you help us find this sweet girl a forever home?? If you or someone you know is interested, send us an email at info@scoutshonor.org and we will connect you with her foster!
