Mila's Story

~ SWEET, SOCIAL, AND SO READY FOR HOME
When Carmen went to a nursery in the Fluvial area of Puerto Vallarta, she noticed two tiny puppies in very poor condition. A worker explained that their stray mother had given birth to six puppies there; two had died, she had taken two, and the remaining two were left behind. Only two months old and severely malnourished, they were being given water by a kind gardener who had asked for help. When Carmen and Claudia saw them, they knew they couldn’t leave them there. The nursery manager agreed to surrender the puppies, and they were rushed to the vet. Tests were done which fortunately came back negative for life threatening illnesses so after prescribing medication for internal and external parasites as well as skin moisturizer their health protocol started. Mila is one of the two puppies.

Mila is about 7 months old, weighs around 16.5 kilos, and is a mixed breed beauty.

Mila is pure sunshine in puppy form. She greets the world like it is one big family reunion; adults, kids, other dogs, even cats are all instant friends. At the shelter, she is the welcoming committee, always the first to trot over with a wagging tail and sparkling eyes. Confident and curious, she isn’t bothered by thunderstorms, fireworks, or busy streets. She walks nicely on a leash and absolutely lights up when it is time for an outing; especially if she gets to say hello to new doggy friends along the way. Mila is wonderfully easygoing. She shares her food, toys, and favorite napping spots without fuss. Playful, affectionate, and full of happy energy, she is the kind of pup who will bring warmth, laughter, and nonstop tail wags into her forever home.

Mila’s adoption fee is $550, which includes her flight, spay, vaccinations, and full vetting.
