Mikey

Mikey has a story that we hear too often these days in Memphis. His family was evicted from their home but left him behind to fend for himself. Some kids in the neighborhood alerted us about him, and he was quickly rescued. The vet says Mikey is about 16 to 18 weeks old. He has decent manners and is not terribly hyper but he is learning not to jump and how to potty only outside. Mikey has a sweet temperament and gets along well with my dogs as well as my cats. He does extremely well in the crate, including no accidents, and has learned in just a few days to run there when it’s time to eat. When it’s time for a nap, he rests quietly at my feet. And one of his favorite things to do is to snuggle. Mikey is getting his shots and other vetting up to date. As he learns that jumping is a no no, he will make a wonderful and loving family pet.
