The owner just took off and left all of them behind. Sometimes they were fed with leftovers by tourists at the beach. Mike stayed starving most of the time. The rescuer made up her mind to find Mike a new home because he is young and friendly among them.<br/><br/>Mike is gentle and friendly when staying outdoors and cuddly with being with his human at home. He is shy with new people but he loves to be hugged. When meeting strangers, he will need some time to warm up to strangers. Yummy treats and gentle pettings will for sure help Mike to relax! Mike tends to observe other dogs when first met. He is ok with children if they are calm and gentle. He acts differently towards different cats. Mike is food-motivated and he doesn’t guard his food against people nor other dogs. He knows to potty outdoors and using training pad as well. He is mostly housetrained.
