Mike's Story

These two cuties were “found” by a citizen a brought to the Shelter. Named after the famous tennis legends Mike and Bob Bryan, we expected they would be naturals with a tennis ball. For a good laugh, check out their video ! They are experts at synchronized zoomies around the yard or perfectly coordinated couch conquests.

We believe the two brothers are part of the elusive “Shug” tribe – Shiba Inu, Shepherd & Pug – mixes. They are about 25 pounds, 10 months old and are the perfect for a Guardian wanting a substantial companion without the space requirements of a full-sized Shepherd. They may reach as high as 35 pounds once full grown. While they do enjoy each others company, they do not need to be adopted together.

Mike is more Chestnut and has the Shiba/Pug curly tail. Mike is intelligent, curious and loves to be held like a baby.

Bob and Mike are looking for active Guardians who appreciate their winning combination of intelligence, loyalty, and humor. Like their tennis heroes who thrived with supportive teams behind them, these boys need Guardians committed to providing consistent training, socialization, and plenty of love.

Bob & Mike are ready to bring championship-level companionship to their forever homes. They've already mastered the most important game of all – stealing hearts with their adorable, wrinkled faces and boundless affection.
