Miesha is a spunky 10-month-old spayed female Pit Bull/Retriever mix with a strong personality and a whole lot of love to give! Born on December 23, 2025, Miesha is the natural leader of her litter—she’s opinionated, bold, and always knows what she wants…which is usually kisses and attention!<br/><br/>She came to us from a high-kill shelter in Southwest Virginia along with her mom Mia and siblings. Since arriving, she’s made it clear she’s the boss—but don’t worry, she’s also a total sweetheart once she gets her cuddles in.<br/><br/>Miesha was adopted back in May. After living in her home for 5 months, unfortunately she was surrendered back to the rescue. In her previous home she lived with a young child, a cat, and a bearded dragon. She is crate trained and also had a fenced in yard to run around in. Her previous owner had three complaints, Miesha still has puppy energy and can be nippy, especially with the young child. Miesha would chase the cat and towards the end Miesha seemed to have reverted back on potty training and was having accidents in her crate at night. <br/><br/>Miesha is spayed, on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention, and fully vaccinated (Rabies, Distemper, Lepto, and Bordetella).<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a confident pup who will keep you laughing and loved, Miesha is your girl!<br/><br/>The first step in the adoption process is the application.
