Midgi's Story

~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption,
things could drastically change a month later. Since we don’t have a long health history of your
adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam
and follow up exams.~

Health: ***** No obvious health issues found during vet exam *****

Temperament:

Midgi is a 5-pound wolf sable Pomeranian with a
big
personality packed into a tiny body. She’s smart, affectionate, and learns quickly—especially when love and attention are involved. One of her favorite things? Jumping straight into your lap for cuddles. If you’re sitting, expect a little fluff ball to appear.

Midgi can be fearful of new people, places, and experiences at first. She likes to carefully assess whether something is “going to kill her” (her words, probably). Once she realizes it’s safe, she settles nicely and shows her playful, sweet nature.

Her bark is actually quite reasonable for a Pom—definitely not the high-pitched, constant puppy bark people expect. She mainly barks at new people, new things, and unfamiliar dogs. With dogs, once she warms up, she’s happy to play and engage. She
loves
to play and also enjoys being carried around like the little princess she is.

Midgi has overcome a lot already. She recently had major double leg surgery (a $3,000 procedure) and is healing beautifully. The surgery site is well covered, and she’s ready to move forward with her life—next up: leash training!

She does have one not-so-great habit that will take some patience and consistency to correct, but aside from that, we truly believe Midgi is very close to perfect.

Midgi would thrive in a loving home that understands small-dog confidence mixed with initial insecurity and is willing to give her time to adjust. In return, she’ll give you devotion, cuddles, laughter, and a whole lot of personality in a 5-pound package. --

Where did she come from: Surrendered to us by a breeder.

Adoption: ***** $1,200.00*****
Weight: 8.1 lbs.
Actual DOB: 4/19/2024

ADOPTION APPLICATION: http://www.recycledpoms.org/application --

Email info@recycledpomeranians.com to request a printable application. --

------Please remember our group is made of only volunteers all of whom have full time jobs, foster fur-kids, and families of their own, so please be patient.--------
