Midge's Story

My name is Midge, and if I could write with my paws, I’d fill pages with my love story – my love for my stuffie, my love for cuddles, and mostly, my love for just being… well, me! I'm a black lab mix, clocking in at a healthy 71 pounds. Five years young, and living my best life.

The first thing you need to know about me is my stuffie. It's my constant companion. I carry it everywhere. It's with me when I greet my foster humans with a wagging tail, and it's tucked beside me when I dream of chasing all the squirrels in the world.

Speaking of humans, I adore them! Especially the little ones. Big, small, loud, or quiet, kids are the best. I'm gentle and patient. I understand they sometimes pull my ears (gently, mostly!). I just lick their faces and wag my tail, filled with forgiveness and puppy love. But honestly, I’m adaptable by anyone. An active family who wants a running buddy? I’m in! A family of couch potatoes who just want to cuddle? I’m also in! Really, any lifestyle is perfect for me.

I’m told I'm "leash-trained," which just means I walk nicely. But mostly, I'm just Midge, the cuddly, lovable, best girl. All I really need is a loving home, a few ear scratches, and maybe, just maybe, a new stuffie to replace my well-loved one.

If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website at www.lolin.org and click on Adopt, Apply for a Dog. From there, you can submit an Adoption Application to be considered for this dog. You MUST be an approved applicant to meet LOLIN dogs. There is no central location or hours to meet dogs.
