Mickey's Story

Meet Mickey — Your New Best Buddy!

Mickey is a 2.5-year-old, 70-lb sweetheart who is equal parts goofy, loyal, and loving. His favorite thing in the world is being close to “his person” — he'll happily follow you from room to room just to be near you. If you're looking for a shadow with a wagging tail, Mickey is your guy!

This energetic boy would love a dog friend to play with and help burn off some zoomies. He does well with crate time as long as he has a buddy crated nearby for comfort. Mickey is still working on a few manners — like chewing, counter surfing, and learning to “drop it” (especially when something delicious is involved!). He's not aggressive at all, but he does have jaws of steel, so sometimes you have to help him let go. With toys and chew bones, though, he does great!

Mickey loves outings to the park, going for walks, and experiencing new adventures. He's a fantastic car rider who settles quickly and might sneak in a kiss or two while you're not looking. He adores toys of all kinds and is learning how to share them with his dog friends.

Mickey is a happy, affectionate companion with lots of love (and some silly quirks) to give. If you're looking for a playful, devoted, big-hearted boy to join your family, Mickey can't wait to meet you!

Mickey is being fostered in the Houston area if you are interested.
