Mick's Story

**********Please read bio fully before responding. We appreciate your interest in one of our dogs and it would be very helpful when you respond if you share information about yourself(home/yard, work hours, other pets, kids, dog experience..) Also, we do have an application at sparrowdogs.com that we will need in order to proceed with the adoption. THANK YOU!!

Yes, he is one handsome little boy, and he really knows it! Mick is a man about town, a ladies man. Well, he thinks so. He loves the female dogs in his foster home, and they tolerate him, lol. Mick is doing OK with the other male dogs in the home, but we think that he would be happier in a home as the only male.

Mick is a 5 year old Chocolate poodle, he is 5 years old. He is a spunky guy, has a lot of energy and loves to play. He is very happy on our short excursions outside(brrrr) and quickly takes care of his business. We do have him in a belly band right now. Things are new to him and he wanted to mark in the house, the belly band helps with that. Being recently neutered those feelings will pass, but he will need a home committed to keeping him on the right path, and understand that it can take a little time for him to get past the marking behaviors.

He is a happy go lucky little guy that will probably be best in an adult household. Mick, like many poodles, has had ear infections and has narrowing of the canal on his left side. That has been treated, but he may be more prone to infections on that side and need treatment in the future.

Mick is always happy, always ready for a snuggle and some attention, He would love to find a person or two to hang around with, enjoy some long walks, explore a neighborhood together, perhaps a farmers market, or two! He may be fine with teen-ish kids, but we think he will be best in an adult household. His adoption fee is $350, please email Kristine at joysparrows@gmail.com.
