Mick's Story

Hello, my name is Mick. I am a Shar pei mix and 9 months old. I came from WV with a broken hip. I had my surgery and now I am doing amazing. I also got neutered and microchipped. I live with a foster furr brother and furr sister. I need slow introductions when being introduced. I love playing with my foster brother so much. My sister is old so she doesn't play but I sure do try. I don't sleep in a crate but have my safe area where I sleep during the night. I don't make any noise and am such a good boy at bedtime. When I need time away, I curl up in my bed and snuggle. My foster mom says I have a cute wiggly butt with a cute dance I do when I see her. I can't help it. I love her and get excited. My foster dad is amazing too. It took a little longer to warm up to him but I am so thankful he allowed me to warm up on my time. I am working on housetraining but doing great. I do have some puppy energy but can chill out as well. My perfect home would be with a family who is patient and has a furr sibling I can play with. I could be an only dog but prefer a furr sibling. I also recommend older kids like teens or an adult only home. When being introduced to new people, I can get very nervous so slow introductions would be appreciated. I am great on a leash and love walks. I would love a fenced in yard so I can run around and get my energy out but its not neccessary. Could you be my forever family?
