Micah's Story

We believe that Micah was abandoned on the side of the road in Sharon, CT - he was searching moving cars for his owner.?

He is now in the dog pound -a lonely place because he’s the only dog in there. He loves going for walks and knows some basic commands. Micah is an intact male (at the moment), so he gets excited with roughhousing, but calms right down when I ask him to.

I haven’t seen him with kids, but he could easily knock a child down in his enthusiasm. He was non-reactive when meeting a submissive female about his size - was ready to play, but didn’t force the issue. He is very sweet, and I love petting his big head!

His adoption fee is $50, but if you’re a CT resident, you will get a voucher for his neuter and vaccinations. A rescue group will pay what the voucher doesn’t cover, and you can pick him up straight from the vet’s office!
