Miara's Story

Hi, I'm Miara - a happy, exuberant mama pittie with a whole lot of love to give.
It doesn't seem like I lived indoors before coming into rescue, so I'm still learning the ropes when it comes to basic training and house manners. The good news? I'm incredibly eager, always in a great mood, and making steady progress every day.

I am a joyful girl who loves to be silly, zoom around the yard, and fully enjoy life. Running, playing, and soaking up the sunshine are some of my favorite things. I also enjoy going for walks and am always up for an adventure with my people.

I like other dogs and especially love roughhousing and in-your-face play. Because my social skills are still a work in progress, I'd do best with a dog who is tolerant of that play style and happy to engage. That said, I would also thrive as an only dog where I can focus all my affection and energy on my humans.

When it's time to relax, I'm a big fan of couch cuddles. I do well in my crate, am respectful of my space, and my house manners continue to improve with structure and consistency.

If you're looking for a fun-loving, affectionate dog who's ready to learn and eager to be your best friend, I'd love to meet you.
