Mia (Scout)

Mia is a 9 year old, 15 pound chihuahua blend who came back to us when her owner passed away. This curious, confident, lady is easy to handle. She's house and dog door trained, and has excellent leash manners. She knows basic commands, such as sit, and come, and will sit when she comes to a door (although she might be slightly impatient)! She is residing in a foster home while awaiting her happily-ever-after. She will be at the Adoption Center on Saturdays from 10am-4pm, or you may email info@AzFriends.org to schedule a weekday meeting.All animals are altered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, licensed (dogs). Cats tested for FELV/FIV. Dogs tested for Heartworm. All animals are available to the first family that is a good match, and if we have more than one animal who is a good match, there will be a lottery for all matches. Note that families must have come in to our adoption center and spoken with an adoption counselor prior to any lottery (when we have lotteries, they usually occur on Saturday mornings).
