She is doing well and is now ready to find a loving forever family.<br/><br/>Meet Mia<br/><br/>Mia is a chocolate female Lab mix puppy with a white chest, approximately 5 months old and about 25 lbs. She recently made the journey from Arkansas and is excited to begin the next chapter of her life.<br/><br/>Mia is playful, affectionate, and loves attention from people. She enjoys spending time with her humans and is always ready for fun, playtime, and snuggles. She does well with other dogs and kids and would thrive in a loving home where she can continue to get plenty of socialization and guidance.<br/><br/>Like most puppies her age, Mia will still need help learning routines such as potty training, crate training, and basic commands. Apply: Fill out an adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents.<br/><br/>2.) Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email.<br/><br/>3.) Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: After approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5-day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure it's the right fit.<br/><br/>4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue.<br/><br/>5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process, we conduct a home visit either in person or via Zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have.<br/><br/>6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. The procedure MUST be done at HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI, or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, we will reimburse $125 once we receive proof of the procedure. We recommend spay/neuter around 6 months old.<br/><br/>**Note: Adoptions are not considered final until the dog is neutered/spayed if applicable**
