Mia's Story

Meet Mia! This pocket size firecracker is ready for her own family! She came from a high kill shelter in California and her time was up. I yanked her out and drove her to Birmingham so she could have a second chance at life and she’s gonna make the most from it! When she gets excited she will nibble your fingers and wag her whole body! She doesn’t do so well with small children or smaller animals than herself. Mia is very smart and figures out things easily. She walks well on a leash, crate trained, but may need a little more training on manners. She has long flowing hair that is so soft to the touch. She doesn’t care to be picked up so I let her come to my lap. Purrpose And Wags's Adoption Policy

Potential adopters will fill out an adoption application. Once approved there will be a phone interview with our adoptions director and another with the foster parent. After that a virtual or in person home visit will take place. If approved, an adoption contract is signed, fee paid, and the pet is transferred to their new family's care.
