My name is Mia and I came to the shelter when my previous owner could no longer care for me. I came in with another dog who I seem to get along with well. Please consider adopting me. INSIGHTS FROM MY FOSTER FRIENDS AND ADVENTURE BUDDIES: Mia is a sweetheart. She did great on our walks and hikes, not pulling too much and being very respectful of the walkers/runners/bikers/dogs that passed by. She loves saying hello to people, but doesn't pull too hard and enjoys pets. She was a little nervous in the car at first (kept wanting to hop in the front), but got more relaxed in the back as the day went on. She was very comfortable with me brushing out dead grass and leaves from her coat after our hike. She doesn't quite know how to play with toys, but loves treats a lot and a peanut-butter-filled Kong. She seems up to go on adventures, but was also happy to sit or lie down calmly whenever we had down time. She can still turn on the pep when she wants, but is overall very calm, friendly, and well-behaved!
