Mia's Story

Hi, I am Mia (HWTH#17284A). I am a Rottweiler mix, DOB: 9/22/13. I weigh approximately 60 pounds and stand 21 inches at the shoulders. I have been at Halfway to Home since 2017. I am very friendly and greet all the volunteers with a waggy tail and small kisses. They treat me very well, but it isn't the same as having a home with a family to call my own. My energetic days are behind me and now I am looking for low-to-moderately active owners with no other dogs who will take me for short walks but mostly who would like a friend with whom to lay on the couch and binge-watch your favorite TV shows. Senior dogs make wonderful companions so I hope you will take a chance on me!! I am crate trained. For more information or to make an appointment to meet me, please call tele # 661-824-4495 (it is a landline).
