Mia's Story

URGENT FOSTER NEEDED FOR SWEET MIA Meet Mia! A super sweet, young, Husky mix, 47 lbs, who desperately needs a soft place to land. We intercepted her to keep her out of the shelter, but she's in very temporary placement and facing boarding if we can't find her a foster home soon. About Mia:This petite girl has been through so much. She was abandoned and has bounced between a few places, and she just needs somewhere to finally decompress, feel safe, and be loved. Mia is friendly with people and okay with dogs, but she needs a little time to warm up and adjust...totally understandable given what she's been through. Give her a chance and you'll see what a fun, athletic, adorable dog she really is. She just needs patience and lots of TLC. What Mia needs:A foster home where she can settle in longer term, build confidence, and learn that she's finally safe. Someone who understands that trust takes time and is willing to give her that space. Mia has been vetted and microchipped. We're currently working on getting her spayed. Please share and help us find Mia a foster! She deserves so much better than boarding. If you can open your home and heart to this sweet girl, please reach out as soon as possible. Fill out an application or Email donnarescuehaven@gmail.com
