Mia's Story

Meet Mia! Mia is a 1.5-2 year old, 45 lb female boxer/ pitbull terrier mix. Mia and her puppies were found living under a shed back in summer of 2024. Mia was the best momma doing all that she could to protect her puppies. They have all found homes and now it is her turn!

Mia has come along way and we have no idea of her backstory prior to her being found. She has been in an amazing foster home and her foster momma has been working with her every day. Mia is looking for her perfect person who wants a companion. She would do best in a quiet home as kiddos make her nervous. She is doing well in her foster home with the other 2 dogs who are easy going. She has no issues with them around food or toys.

Mia is crate trained- she is fed in there as well. She is also almost fully house trained. She rides well in the car but you’ll need paper towels as she is a drooler! She has done well at our adoption events and even allowed pets! We know she is a special girl looking for a special home that is out there somewhere!

Mia is fully vetted- up to date on all shots, spayed and microchipped. She was treated for heartworms and is heartworm free! She is also current on monthly flea, tick and heartworm prevention. She is available locally for meet and greets.
