Mia's Story
CRYSY Mia is a young, healthy dog who loves to play with other dogs. She has had her shots, is spayed, and has a microchip. Currently, she eats Nutrish dog food, consuming two cups twice a day, although she doesn't always finish both meals.

Mia really likes to play with other dogs. She will play tug of war with people and dogs. She has never really wanted to go on long walks. She does go to Camp Bow Wow sometimes and loves being with the other dogs.

Mia attended a five-week training program through Dog Training US and they trained her with the use of a shock collar (Mia doesn’t need/wear a shock collar since
then). Mia is a very social dog, loves interaction with people, and plays very well with them. She is a great traveler and had no problems with three-hour trips riding in the back seat.

Mia will play fetch with a ball or stuffed animal and likes to play tug of war with a toy or rope. Mia is crate-trained for up to 4 hours and is house-trained. Mia was born in a shelter and was raised with foster parents until she was adopted. Mia is a lab and maybe part pit, but socialized well since birth! Did I mention that she loves to play with other dogs!

If you are interested in fostering this sweet girl or adopting her, please call Karen and arrange a time to meet and get to know loving, kind, and friendly Mama Mia!! Karen‘s phone number is
Or you can email her at adorable dog rescue?@yahoo.com. Please let us know how many hours during the day that you would be able to spend with Mia (are you retired or do you work permanently from home), will she have a yard to play in, do you have another dog, what type of pet food would you be feeding Mia? Is there anything else that we should know about you or where you live, out of concern for Mia‘s new home? We will bring Mia to your home to meet you and to ensure that Mia has a safe place to live.

For more information, you may call Polly, an ADR Volunteer at 480-215-2349.
