Mia's Story

Meet Mia!

?Mia is an almost 3-year old spayed female GSD. She is currently up to date on her shots, microchipped, on monthly preventatives along with CBD.?

?Mia came to us as an owner surrender. She spent the majority of the first 1.5 years of her life in a crate 23 hours a day as the people that “adopted” her were not prepared for a high energy working dog.?

?When Mia arrived to her foster, she was a MESS. She did not understand how to dog, she didn’t understand life in a house and will absolutely not enter a crate without hurting herself. Mia’s foster mom works with her daily on training to help her manage her anxiety/nervousness as well as learning new skills. ??

Mia has come a very long way in the short time we’ve had her. Here’s a little more about her:

?Mia should not be crated, she is fine being penned off or closed in another room
?Mia’s adoption WILL be a slow process and her trainer will be involved. This is a non-negotiable.
?Mia is dog selective, she can be successful, meet and greets required
?Mia is best suited to an adult only home where the family understands her anxiety and nervousness
?A Fence is strongly recommended, due to her history of anxiety and nervousness she is considered a flight risk for any new adopter.
?Mia’s favorite past-time no matter the weather is chasing balls!!
?Mia is incredibly smart and food motivated which makes training a breeze
?Mia has all of the traits of the GSD breed standard. She is incredibly loyal, smart, protective, and loves playtime. GSD/working breed experience is required.
