Want an adorable little pup all to your own? Come out and meet Merry Christmas!! She is a little Chihuahua/Terrier mix born 10/8/2024 and is on the hunt for her forever family. She loves to play and have lots of fun, cuddles and kisses are always in abundance too! She has such a fun personality and is just adorable! She is a little shy at first, but warms right up to you! She loves chew bones and playing with stuffies as big as she is! She does play well with dogs of all sizes, as long as they play gentle with her. Merry’s adoption fee is $175 which includes her vaccinations, microchip, spay and monthly heartworm preventative. Please email Adoptions.spspca@gmail.com if you have questions about Merry. South Plains SPCA's Adoption Policy

The South Plains SPCA believes that adopting an animal is a forever decision that should not be taken lightly. We expect our adopters to be committed to loving our animals for the rest of their lives. Adoption events are held every Saturday at 8901 Highway 87, Building 119, Lubbock, TX. Dog adoptions take place from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., and cat adoptions are 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. While not all of our animals come every weekend, our volunteers will be more than happy to talk to you about the animals you are interested in. You can also send an e-mail to adoptions.spspca@gmail.com regarding any of our animals that you are interested in making a forever member of your family. Meetings can be arranged outside of our Saturday adoption event, usually on Monday evenings for dogs and Wednesday evenings for cats. We have an adoption application that must be filled our. The adoption fee varies and is dependent on whether the pet is a dog or cat and age of the pet. The adoption fee covers the dog/cat being spayed or neutered, current vaccinations, heartworm/tick screening, and microchipped. Indoor homes are preferred.
