Merle's Story

So many things to comment on in this picture but good gracious, those big brown eyes just suck you in don't they? Merle is just about the cutest thing on 4 legs. This retriever mix sports a
gorgeous fawn colored coat with a little white bib and an attitude that says "I'm IN" when it comes to all kinds of fun. Merle is a younger gent who weighs about 38 lbs now likely with a bit more room to grow. He is ready to be a part of an active family and can be on the move as much as he can run around the backyard to go for walkies on a leash. Merle just asks for a lifestyle of fun and lots of people to amuse and and be amused by in return. He promises LOTS of laughs as well as lots of love too.
**Bark In The Park notes: " Merle said "TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALLGAME!" and Saving Grace listened!! Merle was a star on his inaugural trip to Durham Bulls' Bark in the Park. He took all the new noises, smells, and sights in stride and got right down to his important dog business: making friends and sampling all the snacks the ball park has to offer!

Saving Grace Animals for Adoption's Adoption Policy
All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $395.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. Our Adoption Request Form can be completed online at our website at https://savinggracenc.org/adopt/. An Adoption Request Form is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home. Sending an Adoption Form does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. If you'd like to donate to help cover the cost of care for these wonderful dogs awaiting new homes, please visit the donate page on our website at https://savinggracenc.org/give/donate-now/. Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
