<p>Hi, I'm Merida! I'm Grand River's 4-year-old cutie. I'm a lab-shepherd mix with the funniest ears that stand up but aren't quite shepherd ears. Other dogs make me nervous so I will want to be your one and only dog in the home. When it's just me and my person though, I'm a great girl! I know how to sit and have pretty good leash manners already, plus one of the volunteers has learned that I'm very eager-to-please and pick up tricks rather quickly. I learned "focus" in under 30 minutes where I have to watch my person for a short period of time. Treats seem to motivate me more than toys do right now and I'm very polite while taking them.
