Meredith May is 8 years old, incredibly sweet, and the kind of dog who makes you want to slow down and give her a little extra love.<br/>Meredith was recently diagnosed with Generalized Progressive Retinal Atrophy and is now blind. She is also heartworm positive and will need some extra care as she continues her journey.<br/>But blindness hasn't stopped Meredith from enjoying life. She gets around remarkably well, adjusts to new surroundings, and uses her other senses to navigate the world around her. Because she cant rely on her vision, her hearing is especially important, and the noise and activity of a shelter can be overwhelming for her.<br/>Meredith would greatly benefit from a foster home. A calm, quiet environment where she can relax, feel secure, and simply be a dog would mean so much to her.
