Meredith's Story

Meet Meredith

Meredith is a pit mix, crate trained, house trained, spayed and microchipped. Meredith is an absolute sweetheart. She’s a very goofy girl, avid bird and squirrel watcher, and total wrecking ball when the zoomies hit. She knows sit, touch, come, inside, outside, kennel, and is working on learning even more. She loves relaxing during baths to the point that she’ll lay down and start drifting off and she doesn’t mind having her nails trimmed either. Meredith loves playing with other dogs close to her size, but she does play rough and is a very vocal player. Toys do not stand a chance with her because she is determined to destroy them like her life depends on it. If it’s raining, though, you better go outside with her, because she is pretty sure she’ll drown if left to brave it alone. She is also looking for a family willing to help her work through her fear of the vacuum cleaner and broom. She absolutely loves snuggling with her foster mom and foster siblings. Meredith has been an amazing mom to her puppies, but now it is her turn to be loved, spoiled, and cared for. Meredith came to our rescue after being found by children, injured after being hit by a car, and dragging herself back to her puppies- which is the only reason they were found. She raised her babies, and now it is finally time for her to find her own forever home. Meredith needs a home without small dogs, small animals, or cats.
