I’m Mercedes, a sweet and sassy Lovebug! <br/>I’m a 2-3 year old female Mixed breed. I weigh 36 pounds and am the perfect size. I am potty trained, crate trained and good with other animals. <br/>It may take me a while to warm up to you but once I do, we can be best friends! I like to follow around my foster mom and sit right next to her, as close as I possibly can and I’m also easily redirected to my bed when she needs some space. I feel like I need to protect my home so I bark at the people and dogs walking by the house. Though I am very friendly when I meet them on walks and at the park. I like playing with all kinds of toys and bones, eating yummy snacks, going for walks and adventures of all kinds but am just as happy to Netflix and chill!<br/><br/>Before coming to SPEAK I was a stray and needed surgery on my hip after being hit by a car. I am much happier now that I have healed. I would benefit from regular walks to continue to progress and build muscle in my back leg and some patience to work on my confidence.
