Melvin's Story

Meet Melvin ??

Melvin was found off of Davis Street where he jumped into a families car and ended up at the ER due to his paw pads being scorched from whatever he was exposed to.

He’s a year and half old and has been working with Bryan to learn some much needed puppy skills . He’s an eager learner , excellent listener and treat motivated.

He was likely never given the chance to understand what was expected of him in a home environment so he just went about doing whatever he wanted. This time with Bryan and structure has been so good for him and truly allowed him to shine !

It’s amazing to see what these pups are capable of with some time and attention. Bryan works with so many of our pups but his time is very limited. Melvin would benefit from continued training for his progress to continue .

He needs a low traffic environment , no cats, no dogs, no small children.
Melvins adoption fee is lovingly sponsored!

He would love to have a family and a forever home where he could be "man’s best friend " If you’re looking for a "pet project " or cuddle buddy , please apply to meet Melvin here : https://www.cognitoforms.com/griffinpondanimalshelter1/griffinpondanimalshelteradoptionapplicationfordogs
