Meet Melvin
This is handsome 5 year old Melvin. His owner sadly had passed and the relative that took him in already had two dogs. Where she lives that is all the dogs she is allowed per home in her community. She was faced with being evicted for having too many dogs, so she did the right thing and contacted Golden Retriever Rescue Resource, GRRR to find Melvin a forever home.
So far we know Melvin is housebroken and good in a home with other dogs and had three cats in his former home. His foster mom says he is a ball hog! He took his foster sisters ball, plus his own!
We will have more information as Melvin settles in. With this particular dog, the foster has the first right to adopt, we will quickly see if this is taking place or if he will open up for adoption.
