He loves to play—whether it’s with our resident dog, Par, or with his people. He’s fully potty trained and crate trained.<br/><br/>Mello is very affectionate and extra generous with kisses—he’s still learning when it’s okay to lick and when it’s time to take a break. He’s extremely food motivated, which works in his favor during training. When told to lay down while people are eating, he settles nicely and does a great job.<br/><br/>Training & Manners:<br/><br/>Mello is still very much a puppy and is learning his manners. He is both treat- and toy-motivated, making training much easier for this big guy. He truly wants to please and is eager to learn.<br/><br/>Walks:<br/><br/>Mello loves going for walks! He’s still learning how to walk politely on a leash, but we’re already seeing improvements.<br/><br/>Dogs:<br/><br/>He loves them. He loves kissing his foster sister Par!<br/><br/>Treats:<br/><br/>Treats are his favorite! He sits nicely for them but is still learning to take them gently.<br/><br/>Tricks:<br/><br/>Mello currently knows sit, stay, lay down ( which he then goes and lays in his crate) and usually responds when asked, though he’ll benefit from continued consistency and practice.<br/><br/>Kids:<br/><br/>Mello does love kids but would do best with older children due to his size and puppy energy.<br/><br/>The Bottom Line:<br/><br/>Mello is a sweet, clumsy, lovable boy who would thrive in a forever home willing to continue his training.
