APPLICATION IS REQUIRED BEFORE ANY ADOPTION CONSIDERED<br/><br/>Mello is a large dog at 85 lbs. He is truly a lovely dog, with a gentle disposition. He is 3 years old. He loves walks and is great on the leash. He was adopted as a puppy and returned to SHS when he became too protective of the new baby.<br/>There is always an adjustment period, no matter what dog you adopt. But you must be consistent with boundaries and a routine that can be learned easily. Because of his desire to protect children, we are asking that no one be under the age of 12 lives in the household.<br/>Mello gets along with some large dogs after getting to know them., but would prefer to be the only one getting attention.
